Peridot's New Outfit

Got this ask on tumblr about what would happen if Diamond and Peridot met. I didn’t want to draw the whole scenario I had in mind but basically Diamond decides to make Peridot a new Crystal Gem outfit to try to fix their rocky somewhat hateful relationship they had previously, Peri loves it and now the two are friends. 

The full story is that Peridot is being her usual brash self and calls out Diamond for being a fake/clone or what she calls a Zircon. She then goes on to explain that Zircons are weaker replicas of gems and are the lowest status out of all gem kind. But the most the disgraceful and horrendous kind are Cubic Zirconias, Diamond replicas. CZs are usually immediately shattered upon creation, but I’ll get into Diamond’s backstory more on another ask. Peridot then goes on to drag her about pretending to be what she’s not and how disgusting it is for her to try to share the same name as the powerful Diamond Authority. Diamond is really upset by this but then Garnet interjects and says that it doesn’t matter what she used to be, she can be whoever she wants to be now. If she wants to be preffered to as Diamond, then that what she’s going to be called. Then after all that, there’s this really intense tension between Diamond and Peridot, and they end up not liking each other.But as time goes on, Peridot warms up to Diamond and starts to respect and understand her. Likewise for Diamond, and she decides to make Peridot a new Crystal Gem outfit as a gift. Peri absolutely loves it and now the two are friends. 

For the bonus, Steven think Peri is really cute as usual, Pearl is complaining about how annoying the two are gonna be calling themselves fabulous and posing every two seconds, Amethyst is like totally feeling her new outfit and her, and Garnet compliments the both of them and gives them a thumbs up (you obviously can't see that in the pic tho)
